本藝術機構于2000年3月成立于日本東京，主要從事日本一線藝術家經紀工作多年，近年來逐漸將藝術家范圍拓展到日本當代年輕藝術家范圍，同時于2018年在北京成立合資機構，將推廣日本當代年輕藝術家作品做為公司在國內的重點內容。

北京公司名稱為新瀛藝文化傳播發展（北京）有限公司，中日合資，公司日方股東為日本當代藝術界資深經紀人，從事日本當代藝術經營超過20年，與目前世界范圍內關注的日本藝術家及工作室有著密切的合作關系。如：草間彌生、奈良美智、村上隆、元永定正、森山大道、名和晃平等。2018年底與中方共同成立合資公司后，除繼續經營一線藝術家外，還希望將更多日本年輕藝術家以及時下日本本土熱門的藝術家推廣到中國及其他地區。

目前公司旗下擁有近20名代理及合作藝術家，并在逐漸擴大藝術家范圍，截止今年5月份，已經參加了藝術成都及組織策劃上海《波普藝術與日本當代藝術》展等內容，其中年輕藝術家板塊受到格外關注

Contemporary Tokyo was founded in March 2000 in Tokyo. It is mainly engaged in the brokerage of Japanese first-line artists. In the past years, it has expanded the focus on young Japanese contemporary artists. in 2018, its joint venture was established in Beijing, . The work of young artists is the key content of the company in China.

The name of the Beijing company is Xinyingyi Culture Communication Development (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a Sino-Japanese joint venture. The company's Japanese shareholders are senior brokers in the Japanese contemporary art world.

In 20 years, they have evolved into a global network in Japanese contemporary art, and are currently concerned about Japan artists worldwide. contemporary tokyo's vibrant contemporary program features the work of leading international artists including : Yayoi Kusama, Nara Yoshitomo, Murakami Takashi, Motonaga Sadamasa, Moriyama Daido, Kohei Nawa.

After the establishment of the joint venture company with China at the end of 2018, apart from continuing to operate first-line artists, they also hopes to promote more Japanese young artists and popular Japanese artists to China, and the rest of the world.

At present, they has nearly 20 agents and cooperative artists, and they are expanding renge in art categories. As of May 2019, it has participated in Art Chengdu and has organized "Pop Art and Japanese Contemporary Art Shanghai " exhibition, among which, the young artists have received special attention in China.
